This program identifies techniques that workers can use to help prevent back injuries on the job. It also describes how the back functions and explains the importance of avoiding bad postures when performing lifts or sitting at the computer for long periods of time.
Once workers know more about the back, they will be ready to take care of it by exercising, stretching, and working in “neutral postures.” This course also explains how back safety best practices are beneficial, both at home and in the workplace. Length: 14 minutes
