The lattice boom is a type of boom (or arm) on a crane. This type of boom is used in applications where large and excessively heavy items must be raised.

This program is designed to introduce the viewer to hydraulic lattice boom cranes. Upon completion, students will be familiar the components, structure and controls of the crane, common nomenclature, preparing and lifting a load, and proper crane maintenance.
