Every 12 minutes, someone in the United States dies in a motor vehicle crash. Worldwide, at least two people are killed on the roads, every minute of every day, totaling approximately 1.2 million deaths annually. Motor vehicle accidents are the 8th leading cause of death today and for persons between 2 and 39 years old, it’s the leading cause of death.
As with most workplace hazards, the best solution is prevention. That means safe driving, that shows respect for the hazards and keeps the focus where it needs to be at all times on the road!
